For over 20 years we have been transforming Southern California kitchen cabinets from frustrating to functional. From 1995 to mid 2016, we operated as The Pullout Shelf Company. We are now California Pullouts. We are the same family run business and pride ourselves on providing professional service, creative solutions and the absolute best quality, custom-made, pullout shelves available to the homeowner. We look forward to meeting with you and providing creative solutions to your most frustrating cabinet storage problems. We serve the counties of Los Angeles, Ventura and Santa Barbara.
Our Team
Jeff Smith – Owner/Solution Designer
Jeff has always had an entrepreneurial passion for problem solving; it’s in his engineering nature! Prior to starting California Pullouts in 1995 Jeff developed rocket engines for satellites and the Space Shuttle. Jeff holds a Bachelor’s degree in engineering from California State University Northridge and a Masters degree from USC. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to solve your kitchen cabinet problems, but it helps!
Moses Monroy – Installer
In his 15 years of installing for California Pullouts, Moses has encountered nearly everything, from the simplest job to the very complex. We often receive compliments from our clients regarding his professional service, dedication to doing the job right and the quality of his workmanship. Moses is a valuable team member. He is married with 2 children, one of whom is a freshman at UC Berkley.
Kathrin Smith – Admin/Operations
Kathrin started California Pullouts with Jeff back in 1995 and has been a team member since. She handles the initial customer contact and schedules Jeff’s in-home design consultations with the homeowner. Jeff and Kathrin have 4 adult children, all home-schooled by her!
Nate Smith – Installer, Design Consultant
Nate has been working in the family business since his teen years. He performs pullout shelf installations, does in-home design consultations and handles our website and social media platforms. Nate is also a nationally certified EMT-Advanced.
